How it Works
You would like me to illustrate your character or a personal picture, but you are not sure how it works?
Here you will find the information.
1. Contact
You simply send an e-mail to art@neleklumpe.de. Describe to me what kind of illustration you would like to have. I will contact you and let you know when and if I have time for your order as well as the costs for the creation of the illustration if your wishes differ from the standard prices. I will also send you a character sheet, which you will fill out accordingly and send back to me.
2. Creation of the illustration and corrections
I’ll let you know in time when I’m going to start your illustration. After I have made a sketch, I will send it to you. Now you have the chance to check the sketch and tell me about possible changes. I will incorporate these and start working on the illustration. When I have finished the illustration, you will have another chance to check the image and make minor changes. These include the color scheme and minor details. Major changes are not included in the price and may have to be recalculated.
3. Payment
For new customers the following applies: transfer of 50% of the amount after the creation of the sketch and 50% after receipt of the final illustration.
4. Rights of use
You acquire the private right of use for your picture. You can copy it for private use as you like or use it on the internet as an avatar, as long as you put a note with my name and my internet address in a suitable place. Likewise you can reduce the picture for this purpose or select cutouts.
If you want to use the image for commercial purposes, I will gladly make you an offer.
Please note that a significant part of my acquisition and advertising is based on sharing my work. Therefore I reserve the right to use the illustration for self-promotion.
5. Data
At the end you will receive the file, unless otherwise discussed, as JPG in Din A4 format with 300 dpi resolution.
6. Rights in general
According to German law, the copyright remains with the creator of the illustration.
I assume no liability for any copyright infringement by third parties.

Du möchtest gerne deinen Charakter oder ein persönliches Bild von mir illustrieren lassen, bist dir aber unsicher, wie sowas abläuft?
Hier findest du die passenden Informationen.
1. Kontakt aufnehmen
Du schickst einfach eine E-Mail an art@neleklumpe.de. Beschreibe mir, was für eine Art von Illustration du gerne hättest. Ich werde mich daraufhin bei dir melden und dir mitteilen, wann und ob ich für deinen Auftrag Zeit habe sowie die Kosten für die Erstellung der Illustration, falls deine Wünsche von den Standartpreisen abweichen. Ich schicke dir ebenfalls einen Charakterbogen, den du entsprechend ausfüllst und mir zurücksendest.
2. Erstellung der Illustration und Korrekturen
Ich gebe dir rechtzeitig Bescheid, wenn ich mit deiner Illustration beginne. Nachdem ich eine Skizze angefertigt habe, werde ich dir diese zuschicken. Du hast nun die Chance, die Skizze zu prüfen und eventuelle Änderungswünsche mitzuteilen. Diese werde ich einarbeiten und mit der Ausarbeitung der Illustration beginnen. Wenn ich die Illustration fertiggestellt habe, hast du nochmals die Chance das Bild zu prüfen und kannst noch kleinere Änderungen durchführen lassen. Diese beinhalten z. B. die Farbgebung und kleinere Details. Maßgebliche Änderungen sind im Preis nicht enthalten und müssten ggf. neu kalkuliert werden.
3. Bezahlung
Bei Neukunden gilt: Überweisung von 50 % des Betrages nach der Erstellung der Skizze sowie 50 % nach Erhalt der finalen Illustration.
4. Nutzungsrechte
Du erwirbst mit der Illustration das private Nutzungsrecht für dein Bild. Du kannst es zur privaten Nutzung beliebig vervielfältigen oder auch im Internet als Avatar nutzen, sofern du einen Hinweis mit meinem Namen und meiner Internetadresse an geeigneter Stelle anbringst. Ebenfalls kannst du das Bild zu diesem Zweck beliebig verkleinern oder Ausschnitte wählen.
Solltest du das Bild für kommerzielle Zwecke nutzen wollen, mache ich dir gerne ein Angebot dafür.
Bitte beachte, dass ein maßgeblicher Teil meiner Akquise und Werbung auf dem Teilen meiner Arbeit beruht. Deswegen behalte ich mir das Recht vor, die Illustration zur Eigenwerbung zu Verwenden.
5. Daten
Am Ende erhälst du die Datei, sofern nicht anders besprochen, als JPG im Din A4 Format mit 300 dpi Auflösung.
6. Rechte allgemein
Das Urheberrecht behält nach deutschem Recht der Schöpfer der Illustration.
Ich übernehme keine Haftung für eventuelle Urheberrechtsverletzung dritter.
